Grass head people
from http://www.twobigtwolittle.com/

I’ve been wanting to do this growing grass head activity with the kids for quite awhile, but I was having a hard time finding a small bag of grass. I figured that there was no sense in spending a lot of money to buy a big bag of seed only to use a small amount of it.

One day while browsing our local dollar store, I found a little bag. So I grabbed it and the others supplies to make the grass head guys.

I waited until the weekend to set it all up so that Maddie would be here to join in. She was pretty excited to be able to make one.

Our supplies: grass seed, potting soil, a pair of nylon socks, markers, glue, googly eyes, and flower pots

All happy and sitting on the window sill, ready to start growing.

Day 5 â€" starting to get some stubble

Maddie’s little guy has grass coming out everywhere lol I think he’s going to grow a beard.

One week â€" getting lots of hair

After two weeks, they are looking very good and maybe need a hair cut lol. The little one has turned into a grass ball.
