Medical Explanation:

There is a lesion of the Substantia Nigra Pars Compacta. The lesioned Substantia Nigra Pars Compacta, which is responsible for inhibiting the action of the Globus Pallidus Internal Segment and also for inhibiting the Striatum's Indirect Pathway, results in the unopposed action of the inhibitory pathway.

This results in the classical presentation of Parkinson's Disease, which is described as: TRAP; Tremor, Cogwheel Rigidity, Akinesia, Postural Instability.
