do i love the sight of snowfall, vrglguaps. 

just came from the balcony of a 19th floor hotel room in manila to look at the horizon of this topsy-turvy place.  i can never get used to the abuse of car horns in this teeming metropolis.  i wonder if i would ever want to stay here again.  but then it's as if i have a choice.  just now i can hardly wait to get to cebu and bohol.

thanks for the warning, vrglguaps.  how tragic it is that we get this feeling of being had right in our own country.  i hope it's more imagination than real, though most of us honestly believe that it's more real than not. 

i always give myself a week to adjust again, to the noise, especially.  as for opportunistic people, whew, luckily, i don't have relatives or neighbors who would hover once someone from "abroad" comes around.  i have the crazy feeling they'd rather keep their distance from me.  perhaps it's the way i look (draculina, hahaha!) or that nothing surprises them anymore. 

as for opportunistic strangers on the road, well, they have it coming.  just yesterday, when someone on the street called for me to take a taxi (there are pesky dispatchers here, right?), i put him off by staring him down and saying, "marunong akong tumawag ng taxi".  boy, did he get away from me soon after.

as before, as ever, i still don't know how to cross a street here by my lonesome, whether in manila or cebu, huhuhu.

I am taking care of my estranged husband! He was in the Philippines starting a new life when all of a sudden he was diagnosed with pancreatic disorders at St. Luke's Medical Ctr. He has to come home for more examinations only to find out he got stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

thankful that my tendonitis in my left arm is healing.  now i can go back to the computer.  and tb.  slowly.  it was caused by too much time spent on the computer, hehe.

When Mike got an excruciating pain in his jaw three years ago, i felt like i was going to die first! I was so traumatized until now, makakita gani ko mo rest sha from hard work ma nerbyos na ko taman2x nga mo trigger sa akong panic attack....

yeheeeey!  today i learned how to make my own candles.  when i left tb this morning without logging out, i went into candle making.  now i can have as many candles as i want with colors, shapes and scents of my own choice.

To complicate things, I just transferred to another department, still on training as of posting time and so bored here, decided to drop by and say Hello to All. Working night shift sucks, the coffee is not helping.
