A MAN killed himself after he found out that his wife was having an affair when he accessed her account on a social networking site. The body of Eduardo Santos 31, a delivery boy, was found hanging from the ceiling of his house in Barangay Sapimanai, East Fairview, Quezon City, at around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

PO1 Hermogenes Capili of the Quezon City Police District homicide section said that hours before he took his life, the victim had confided in a friend that his wife, who was working in Hong Kong, was having an affair with a man based in Cainta.

The victim said that he had accessed his wife’s Facebook account and as he was doing so, his wife went online and started chatting with a man from Cainta. ”Investigation showed that based on the discussion between his wife and the man, Santos suspected that there was an affair going on,” Capili said. He added that the victim’s body was found by his 10-year-old daughter. Nancy C. Carvaja
