BBC News - Close-Up: Malaysia's roadside food stalls
In an ongoing series, BBC News focuses on aspects of life in countries and cities around the world. What may seem ordinary and familiar to the people who live there, can be surprising to those who do not.

Most urban Malaysians spend their time indoors, but there is one place they will brave the heat and humidity for - the mamak stall.

These open-air food stalls located at most street corners sometimes operate 24 hours a day. Cheap food and drinks draw in crowds at all hours.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. - John 3:16-18
