"What has she done wrong?’’

Apparent President-elect Benigno "Noynoy’’ Aquino III posed this question to the thousands who logged on to an online petition on Facebook for his sister, television host and actress Kris Aquino, to fulfill a promise to leave the country if he won the presidency.

Aquino is currently leading by more than 5 million votes his closest rival, ousted President Joseph Estrada, in the partial tally of the Commission on Elections.

"She is a citizen of the republic, she has not committed any crime, why should she leave the country? You just can’t please every one,’’ said Aquino in a press conference here.

Kris, in the heat of an altercation with Ruffa Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama two months ago, said she would gladly consider leaving the country if she turned out to be a "cause of stress" for her elder brother if he won the presidency,

A "despedida’’ page on Facebook was launched shortly after it was clear that Aquino had run away with the presidency, and more than 7,000 have signed on, asking Kris to live up to her promise.

this is so trivial, I think every sector should join hands together to uplift our economy. Forward to progress.

Please be reminded that electing Noynoy means good governance is expected, and Kris Aquino is not tactless. She might be emotional but she is a very intelligent person.

she may shoot her foot at times when she opens her mouth, but yes, she just might be an example of a weakness turning into strength, or turning either way.  at the very least, we could listen to her speak her piece about her brother's administration.  that would be interesting.

What kind of moral and spiritual values Kris has? She is not even married in church. Has become a mistress for three times.... once with Alvin Patrimonio. She was a live in partner of Joey Marquez in which at that time she got STD and had a boob jod. Third, bore a son with Phillip Salvador, who also was married. Kris is a classic example of a socialite hypocrite. An immature childish woman, who is impulsive and not careful of her words. Who thought being tactless means being truthful. She does not take responsibility of her actions. She maybe smart, I give her credit to that... but never really consider her a woman with moral and spiritual values... that would put her to shame.

    Trademark, I really agree with what you've said. bitaw pud na? pro in our society to day, daghan jud ang mga socialite hypocrites, yet they are still looked up to, by many. Gi na idolize pa. This is also true to many of our leaders. kabit didto,kabit dri, yet still naa pa gihapon sila holding higher positions in our government. Status symbol ba ni?

   I also would agree to this. It's true that we also have our own flaws, so, we have no right to judge her. Pro si Kris, lahi man gud iya position sa society, she has to be careful with her words. Mura baja ug wa nay issues nga nahimo si Kris lately which concerns her values. Ambot kini sila ni James Yap ug kasal ba. I am in no position to judge her since I dont even know up close and personnal. I am no fan of Kris but I do like her frankness and honesty. Who the hell in this world would have the guts to tell that she contracted STD from someone? Mapili ra di ba? Hehehehe.

    Yup, Kris is trying her best to change. Let's give her a chance! Her leaving the country will do no good. Ngano man pud siyang mohawa just to prove that she has or will change?
