A Filipino woman will be spending the next three-and-a-half months behind bars after she pleaded guilty to overstaying in the country.

The Bandar Magistrate's Court on Saturday heard that Kamra Halil Uddin, 31, did not leave the country after her social visit pass expired on October 29, 2006.

Last month, the defendant reported herself to the Enforcement Section of the Immigration Department saying that she had lost her passport.
