An immoral LCE has no moral ascendancy to lead a city whose constituents are known to be  religious and of decency. Philosopher Plato once said "we as guardians must be gentle  to our fellow  citizens but fierce to our enemies, if we cannot do that, we are preventing our enemies from destroying our city by destroying it ourselves ".
