I dont think the drainage has something to do with this. Kay ang Metro Manila naa na below sea level. Di jud ni sha mapugngan bisan unsaon.

natural calamity jud nih, perting kusoga sa ulan for straight 12 hrs daw, equivalent sa total rainfall accumulation for one month's rain during rainy season...nag sunod pa jud mga bagyo mao cguro ang drainage samot ka puno nah. kalit pud pila lng daw ka minuto, taas na ajo ang tubig sa ubang areas, wa ka pangandam ang uban...bisan gani dha sa Katipunan Av, never jud na nag baha dha sa una.

Segi ug balita sa CNN ang flooding. Karon akong concern is ang mga iro ug iring naa ba intawon nagpakabana nila? Okey na ang tawo kay daghan man nagtabang pero naguol ko sa mga mananap. Human baya na sila para nako so hinaot naa pud grupo sa naapektuhan nga lugar nag nang rescue intawong aning way tingog.Ang last baya nga rescuehon kini sila kalooy pud.

dili malitok sa pulong ang kabangis sa maong bagyo nga mihampak sa ubang bahin kapuluan.

Torrential rains from Tropical Storm Ketsana flooded the capital, Manila, and 25 nearby provinces on Saturday.

Some 80% of Manila was submerged, displacing 450,000 people. More than 115,000 are now in makeshift shelters.

The rain is still coming down in Marikina, the worst affected part of Manila, but it certainly has got through the worst of what the storm threw at it.

All the streets were under metres of water. There's a thick coating of mud over everything. At the bottom of the road, there's a pink car which is balanced on the diagonal on its roof on top of another. The only people who escaped the floods were those who went up onto the upper floors of their buildings. All the shops and businesses on the ground floors have been destroyed.

Now people are just focusing on clearing up, trying to get what possessions they can together, along with food, water and some shelter, because more rain is forecast.

and another storm is coming this Thursday =(

Kabahin sa mga iring og iro minus pa gyud kaayo ang animal welfare group sa Pinas.  Gani dinhi sa Bohol, pusilon raman jud ang ang mga latagaw nga iro arun malikayan ang problema sa rabies. Hinuon gisugdan na sa LGU's and anti rabies vaccination and dog tagging..
