My Thai friend and MBA classmate built a 4-million baht house next to his parents' residence. The house of his parents (in fact it was built for him) is so big already that there actually was no need for him to build a new house.

I have been staying at his parents' house every weekend when I have MBA classes in Bangkok. It'd be too far for me to go back to my campus where I am teaching and at the same time living.

So my 29-year-old friend (I will turn 28 last week of this month) built another big house. (Kanus-a pa kaha ko kabalay ug ako? ).

More than a month ago the house saw its complete completion. I mean the house is already complete in every sense of the word - furnishings, furniture, appliances, etc.

On the night I came to his house last month, my friend, with his Thai friends, welcomed me at the dining table. We ate and talked and occasionally I checked Tubag Bohol out. The whole house is powered with a wireless Internet.

"Mike, your room is ready," my friend told me, pointing his finger at the second floor. I smiled. "You can stay here as long as you want, and that's your room and Sumit's (our Indian friend in the MBA class). But Sumit seldom joins us on weekends as he stays with his relatives in Bangkok. So, most of the time I stay alone in this room and even alone in the whole house as my friend and his girlfriend would often go out for work and party.

The room is better than many hotel rooms that I've been to.

Friends are jewels of treasure - they can give you or lend you their room or entire house.

Daghan baya pod dire ang taga Thai. Daghan sab mga Swedish ganahan sa Thailand ug naa na namuyo diha. Ingon nila mas peaceful daw ang Thailand compared sa Pinas.

I already asked my Thai friend about this, Asianfairy.

His reply: "Sure. No problem."

He added: "They're all welcome."

He is very humble despite the fact that his father was a governor and now senatoriable.

Mike, if I will be back in Bangkok again someday........i will stay in your apartment...bahala nag magsinardinas basta taga Boho, di ta ma-ikog ug ma-ulaw.  Well, you are a kindhearted guy, so,  it not a surprise that you will not deserves such a friend.

Not in my room, Bambi, kay Smokey Mountain - books, magazines, newspapers, mga plansahonon, unlan, habol, sagol tanan.

Adto ka stay sa akong Thai friend house kay mansionic to, and he welcomes Filipinos in his residence. He's like my brother though bag-o ra mi nagclassmate.

Thai people are very nice bitaw gyud. I had a Thai friend, and she was so sweet...

Whoever will come to Thailand will be billeted at my friend's little mansion.

You can bring your laptop since the whole house is wired to the Internet.
