hala ang southern leyte kay boholano ra gihapon ang inistoryahan oi. ang leyte kaha maoy waray, ang eastern leyte ra pud kay ang northern part of leyte kay cebuano man.

Western and nortwestern Leyte, Sinugbuanon ang inistoryahan, ug ang tibuok Southen Leyte (mas Bol-anon pa paminawon). The island of Biliran northwest of Leyte, which is now a province, sagul ang sinultihan. Inig sulod sa Biliran town, waray-waray; next town, Naval, the capital, Sinugbuanon, hangtud patuyok sa isla, then Cabucgayan, waraywaray na , except one barangay (Bunga), nga Sinugbuanon jud bisag 1 km lang from the town proper. The rest, waraywaray na, except the island town of Maripipi.  The Warays though fully understand the conversational Sinugbuanon (they call us "kana").  Even in Samar, naay mga lungsod nga Sinugbuanon ang estorya, like the island town of Sto Niño nga gitaliwad-an sa mga isla sa Leyte, Samar ug Masbate ug sa Bicol area.
