Mari, sa gamay pako sa Tacloban mi pero naa nami sa Ormoc karon. After nag retire akong granparents, nibalhin na pud sila sa Ormoc but most of the clan tua sa Tacloban gyud! Doul ra bitaw ta. One hour ra bya nang Baybay to Ormoc.

Yes i have been to Canigao pero lately ginadiscourage ang pag adto didto 'kuno' kay tungod sa lamok nga carrier og filariasis. im not sure if local government is allowing entries lately

The so-called ARMM (Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao) government did not do its role as expected.

The officials built exclusive (private) island resorts for their friends and families. I learned this fact from the people of Sulu I talked to that time.

This is so sad, Mike. It seems to me that where ever we go, those with power will always take advantage of the poor. Be they from Imperial Manila, Cebu-Visayas, or even in Muslim Mindanao.

Those who fought for 'moro independence' turned out just like the politicians in Manila.

My pity flows for the people of Sulu.

canigao island is indeed a beautiful place to visit this summer.

canigao islang is good kay walay inhabitants pero walay koryente ug walay tarong garbage dumps. ang langaw pwerteng dagkoa mura nag buyog kadak-a. haskang paita.
