ROXAS CITY, Philippines -- A 13-year-old girl from Dumarao town in Capiz claims her father and two older brothers have been sexually abusing for years, according to a local welfare officer and the police.

Nene (not her real name) narrated to Phoebe Gagula, the town's social welfare and development officer, that her father, who is 50 years old, has been raping her since she was nine years old.

She added that her two older brothers, aged 20 and 18, have also been molesting her repeatedly, Gacula said.

The victim and her family live in a remote village, 20 kilometers from the town center.

Nene told social workers that her father and brothers would sometimes bring her to the banana plantation near their home, tie her hands and take turns in molesting her.

She said her father and brothers would molest her whenever her mother went away on errands.

She said she told her mother about the abuses but she refused to believe her and even scolded her.

Hmmmmm?

This is absolutley awfull but where was this news fond inside back pages or front page news.

I think the two brothers and the father should be labled as known child sex offenders. Maybe if things were handled somewhat how things are handled back in the states then these Filipino would not have so much crud going on here all the time. Do not just adopt our fads and fashoins people adopt ideals from sucessfull countereis when it comes to handling law and punishment.

Methods here regarding laws are very lax its so very easy to get away with everything.

"Kid for hire to kill!" what a great money maker as the kid does not have to do the time for his crime and neither does the one paying him to do it.

Im almost too freaked out to keep on living here.

I hope that young girl does not end up ruined for this and that she can get psychotherapy from a professional but I never see those kind of professions around too much.

She also needs to be taken awy from her stupid Pinay mother and be turned over to a much safer place.

Huh! i feel so sad after reading this news,what happen to the world now? How dare can a father or a brother do it to their own blood? Damn! i dont know how to punish these kind of people, what could be the possible future of this poor girl who  have this experience, and her stupid mother seem she tolerate her husband and 2 boys. May our justice give a strong punishment of these kind of people.
