Talibon Mayor Juanario Item called on the provincial police command to closely guard the evidence in the recent confiscation of suspected shabu that would be P100-thousand.

This is to ensure that the suspects this time will really be prosecuted, unlike what happened in the celebrated case in Ubay in the past wherein the packs of suspected shabu recovered from suspects that constituted among the pieces of evidence turned out to be just starch when examined at the crime laboratory.

On Maundy Thursday, the police team led by Talibon Police Chief Domino Pelicio recovered packs of suspected shabu from one Jovelito Curimo, a 40-year-old resident of the island barangay Bilang-bilang in Bien Unido.
