Manchu are not considered Han Chinese. They were, for most of Chinese Imperial History, considered barbarian peoples of the north. The Manchu conquered China in the 1600s and established the last great Dynasty called the Qing Dynasty.
They have, for the most part, been assimilated into Han culture. However, they are genetically different and phenotypically different from the pure Han Chinese.
