The Great Ramses II, Pharaoh of Egypt
« on: March 26, 2008, 10:59:18 AM »
The great man that was known to the world at his time as Pharaoh Ramses II, a man who deigned himself a God, claimed to be the reincarnation of the Sun God, Ra. Ramses II, like the pharaohs before him and after him referred himself to the Divine Royal 'We', it was rule and law to pray to him, make sacrifices to his image, and revere him as an Almighty God, Lord of Life, and Lord of Death. The priests in their writ of texts in the books of Ra, books of Anubis, book of Set, declared Pharaoh to be purely Divine.

Ramses II the Great is known to us in the bible and in the histories written and recorded in ancient Helas (Greece), Assyria, and Hittites. Ramses II enslaved thousands, jews, canaanites, nubians, ethiopians, hittites, assyrians, babylonians. He was revered by his people as a God. However, in egyptology, during the mid late half of his reign, there is a large 20 year gap that was stricken from the histories. As if Ramses II willed the events that occured in that 20 year time span to be forever forgotten. Something happened so as to embarass the so called God-King, that he would not have history record it.

However, despite his so called Divine Will, it was recorded. By the mouths and stories of the Hebrews. Ramses II the Great Lion of Egypt, was the same man who was stricken by the plagues by the prophet Moses under orders of the One True God. He is the same man who lost his first born son and heir to his thrown. The same man who lost his entire army to the mouths of the Red Sea.

His Temples to Himself,
It ushers, "I am the God-King, Ramses II"

BUT, alas, thou didst Die.
Why Does a so called 'God' King die?

The remains of Ramses II, who declared to the world himself a God,
Yet he remains in his crypt, Dead.
Humbled in death,

O Ramses II the Great, thou were great in life, thy hands destroyed nations, enslaved millions of lives,
Yet, Thou wert Humbled by thy overbearing Pride,
Claiming Yourself a God, deigning yourself Divine by Right,
Nay, thou were not a God, nor was thou Divine,
But a Man, a mere Man, Dust, And so thou returneth to Dust,

And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days  They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.  And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go ye, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you.  And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God. Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.  But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let them go.  And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die. 29 And Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face again no more.
-Exodus 10:1-30
