Unbenoknownst to many faithful is that there is a growing Catholic presence in The Ukraine, Russian Federation and other Eastern European countries, thanks to the growing dialogue between the Roman Catholic Church and the Orthodox Primates in Russia, Ukraine and Greece. In actuality, there is very little difference between Catholic and Orthodox Churches; both teach that Sacred Scripture is complemented and perfected with Sacred Tradition. The Eucharistic Adoration, the Bread and Body of Christ is integral to the said Churches and in professing of the Faith. I was able to visit and go to mass with some of my colleagues who were Catholics as well. For the good time in Kiev we attended only Orthodox masses, as we did not know of a Catholic Church, but on our 2nd week, we found out that there was a Ukrainian Catholic Church a good 5 blocks from our university center. Every sunday we would walk that to church and to attend mass; it was beautiful. Tho the mass was said in the Ukrainian language, the process, the liturgy (which we followed by english pamphlets) was identical to the English counterparts celebrated in the United States. Some pictures of the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Kiev, Ukraine. This was a beautiful church.
