Most if not all multi-petalled hisbiscuses are hybrids. The single-petalled bright red and white varieties are mostly endemic. Tagalog: Gumamela. Binisaya: Antuwanga.

Hibiscus and other edible flowers are served as salads at The Buzzz (Island City Mall) and Bohol Bee Farm; also as pizza toppings.

yes dear, tan-awa sa Trader Joe's naa sila'y dried hibiscus para salad.  Naa dapit sa butanganan sa mga dried fruits.
