Tua na didto sa sulod, it's called The French Quarter... di tanto layo from the Superdome (kanang too sa pic). I don't know if the exact house nga gihimoag kanta still exist karon.

Yes! Back in July 2000, we had a road trip from New Jersey to Texas to visit my Auntie and Uncle there. My dad drove through Lousianna and we drove through New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and stopped by the towns around Baton Rouge to rest. Ingon si daddy nako, "Doy, murag dako ang French presence diri kai ang ngalan sa ilang streets diri murag French man tanan."

He he he !

My dad was the driver and I was the "co-pilot" or as he referred to me as "co-driver". In charge of opening his coke bottle, giving him chips, and from time to time checking the map while he drove.

While my mommy , my sister and my brothers were sleeping sa likod, I was awake the entire time with my dad. I was not allowed to sleep kai gusto kono si daddy mo talk nako during the drive. LOL. I was not permitted to sleep kai if i sleep, he will have no one to talk to kono. bwahahahaha!

Addendum: It took us some 26 hours to drive from New Jersey to Texas. We stopped by Georgia to sleep , but after that, straight driving. Maayo ang experience, kai maka kita gajod ka sa beauty sa America. :)
