A Stroll around Lake Erie
« on: April 07, 2008, 07:44:38 AM »
This weekend, a group of us graduating seniors took a stroll around Lake Erie, Pennsylvania.

Providence provided a beautiful day, good friends, and most of all, the sight of spring. A beautiful day, indeed.

Who knew law students and medical students knew how to have a good time?
  :P 8)

Lisa, enjoying her foot long hotdog, lol

Shiao Jie, Nicole and Edwina. All smiles.

In the words of Don and Hussein, "Professionally casual" LOL

Love you, babe  ;)

My fellow medical peers. Handsome pose, gentlemen.

Killing each other? LOLLLLLL!

Well said.
A perfect colloquial saying in reference to our senior thesis. LoL

Dude, it actually bounced, lol

Edwina and Nicole, skipping along. hahaha, you two are too cute.

Cove-like ice around the coast. I love this shot

Yes, 'te.

Very romantic no? We were there in Presque Isle from 3pm all the way till 7 pm. The beach was so serene and quiet. I've never walked barefoot on sand and ice before, but I assure you its an exquisite feeling. Different but tantalizingly cool. haha

It was cold, but hot. You could actually see steam rising from the sand due to the cool temperature of the lake water and the heat trapped in the sand from solar rays.

You can actually see the steam rising in the foreground.

Lisa and Edwina. And yes, they really did do this. hahahahahaha

In Lisa's own words, "I am Woman, hear me roar" wahahahaha!

So I found a random tire on the sand, and decided to create a happy face.  ;)

Enjoyin' the sun's warmth

Ever had that feeling cold-yet warm, Ms. Orchids? When we dipped our toes in the sand, our immediate reaction was digging deep due to the cold, yet at the same time it was warm due to the heat of the sun. It was so beautiful seeing the packed ice formed around the beach of the lake and being able to stand on it and enjoy the warmth of spring at the same time.

It was emotional for us, you know. Under the smiles and laughs, we all knew that we would be parting for our individual medical schools and law schools after graduation.

Some of us men cried after the day's end. I myself was not immune to the act. :)

I think that's wonderful Bran.
Enjoying your friends before parting your own separate ways will surely bring wonderful memories that you all will someday say, "hey did you remember when...."

Ah, shucks, can't help but cry when I read that, Beth. :P

I can only hope and pray that Providence will bring us together again in say 4-5 years from now. Older and hopefully wiser.
