we always have one of those, every year.  i can say we have a collection of dried palm fronds.  i wish to know from fr chic whether it is true that it is the previous year's blessed palm that's burned and its ashes are the ones used for the current year's ash wednesday, mixed with holy oil.

if so, then i'll burn our dried palm collection of years, put the ashes inside an urn, mix them with holy oil, and i'll have one more blessed thing on our altar.  (no, i won't use them for ash wednesday, hehe.)

ang palms nga gibenditahan sa palm sunday dili anting-anting.  ibutang sa mga pultahan aron way daotang espiritu nga makasulod?  mag-unsa na lang kun ang daotang espiritu naa sa sulod?  di makagawas.
