Before I devoted my time on developing Tubag Bohol, I was excited joining a forum site run by ABS-CBN. This forum site focuses mainly on ABS-CBN shows and programs. So most people there talk about TV matters. But there is one category in that forum site named "Spiritual or Religious Inspiration" or something like that, so I started posting spiritual insights under this category.
The next day I got an email from the forum administrator notifying me that my contributed articles (excerpts from Daily Bread book) were deleted because they were inappropriate.
I was so angry. I told God this way (something like this in prayer). "Lord, if that forum site won't allow your words to be discussed or reflected on, then I have to do something to make the Internet a gateway for people to know more about you."
I don't know if the forum admin was an atheist. I was just angry that he deleted God's words but he retained indecent postings not suitable for general public view.
This kind of experience compelled me to immerse myself deeper into computer and technology. If webmasters don't believe in God, then they would hate Biblical passages in websites. There must be a way that God can be honored in the Internet.
Tubag Bohol's "Dosage of Hope" is an attempt of honoring God in the Internet in our own little ways. I am not a saint, yet I can still do some small good things for our Creator and Savior.
