Today, let us remember those who perished during the great Luzon Earthquake.
On July 16, 1990, at 4:26 PM local time in the Philippines, the Luzon earthquake occurred. Papauwi pa lamang ang mga kabataan nuon galing sa mga paaralan, at nagsisimula na rin magsipag-uwian ang mga namamasukan. "The earthquake produced a 125 km-long ground rupture that stretched from Dingalan, Aurora to Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija as a result of strike-slip movements along the Philippine Fault and the Digdig Fault within the Philippine Fault System.(wiki)" Tinatayang 1,621 na katao ang namatay sa lindol na ito. Inaalala po natin ang ating mga kapatid na nasawi sa trahedyang ito. -
