Nestle Clarification
« on: September 15, 2007, 09:06:01 PM »
hi mommies and daddies....

i received a forwarded email from a friend who works in j. walter thompson
regarding the phase out of maggi seasoning and nestea tea bag. she even sent
the copies of the memo signed by the marketing managers and vp of nestle's
food services business unit.

i got worried because the memo was vague, and it just said that the products
being phased out are made from china.

thankfully, the phase out is just a marketing decision and not because these
food products are tainted with anything harmful to the human body.

i am attaching here the clarification from nestle. they mentioned that
although maggi liquid seasoning is made from china, it is not dangerous for
human consumption. and the nestea tea bags are made from india.
