Japanese company gives sick leave for the broken-hearted
« on: January 31, 2008, 08:05:35 AM »
And the reason given by the company?

"With a broken heart, everyone needs time off, just like when you are sick. "

Miki Hiradate, CEO of Tokyo-based marketing company Hime & Co, which gives staff paid time off (up to three days) when they suffer a bad relationship breakup. (Reuters)

But how can this be substantiated, Benny san?

Perhaps you can report to work nga naay bandage sa dughan? Unsa kaha? What I know is that in Japan, some companies have a family atmosphere in which the bosses know the people close to you as well as the ups and downs in your personal relationships.... That's why for the male employees, especially, it is a must to go out on a drinking binge with your bosses after work.

When hubz have isogi(dinalian nga trabaho),They will go to izakaya (drink bars) after work. And he knows his men unsay problema kay mag-estoryahay man sila.So mahibaw-an jod kung kinsay broken hearted.

Siguro naay standard medical form nga ipa-certify sa physician or psychiatrist which goes like this:

cardiovascular abnormality with symptoms of irregular palpitation or heart murmur leading to possible cardiac arrest....

or possible hara-kiri...

If dili lang ni abuse na privilege (privilege for being heart-broken? ???), nice bya ni kay nag show ang mga employers ug concern sa ilang mga employees' personal issues.

If you are aware how Japanese companies break their employees' back, you'll say at least they're concerned not to break their employees' hearts.
