Instead of the "traditional" fundraising sit-down dinner, auction virtual conference, or another Zoom, Food Equality Initiative will host an informal, all-day Non-event on December 1st.

KANSAS CITY (PRWEB) NOVEMBER 12, 2020
Food Equality Initiative (FEI), a nonprofit with the mission to improve health and end hunger in individuals diagnosed with Food Allergies and Celiac Disease announced the Free-From Gala Non-Event (link to webpage) to raise funds this Giving Tuesday.
Giving Tuesday, or #GivingTuesday takes place on the first Tuesday of December, every year. Since 2012 Giving Tuesday has been seen as a global movement dedicated to giving, volunteering, and doing good for your community.
The Free-From Gala is not an event, but a day of giving to support their mission of improving health and ending hunger in all patients with Food Allergies & Celiac Disease through education, access, and advocacy. Instead of utilizing funds on all that goes into planning an event, Food Equality Initiative hopes to fundraise for the Seven Percent Fund to increase resources, food, and end disparities in Food Allergy, Celiac Disease as well as Health.
The Free-From Gala Non-Event will take place all day on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020. Ticket prices for this Non-Event are as follows:

General Admission Non-Ticket: $50

Couple of GA Non-Tickets: $75

A Whole Table of Non-Tickets: $700

These are donation amount suggestions, and participants may donate any amount they would like. Food Equality Initiative also encourages participants to consider making a recurring gift. It helps FEI, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit continue to provide access to safe and healthy food month-after-month.
Starting as a small Kansas City food pantry in 2014, Food Equality Initiative has served those in need by increasing access to safe food, providing education, and advocating for those with limited diets.
FEI has seen a 336% increase in client utilization since the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to serve new families & individuals daily. With a goal to raise $20,000 this Giving Tuesday, The Free-From Gala Non-Event will help Food Equality Initiative continue to serve those in need into the next year.
