Dong, you suggested to start with 20-25 lb barbells or dumbbells - Naku po, Dodong!!!  I can hardly carry 5 pounds much more 20 pounds!  That's why smiffy calls me "You are so bajot, Ate Ging!"  hahahahaha I have 2 4-lb dumbbells but I still have to look for those stinkers!  When I do the bike, I do jabbing and if I find those dumbbells, I will use them!

But for you beautiful and raveshing ladies in here, id suggest you start with 5lb dumbbells.

No problem, 'te. My dad actually does this routine and so far he shrank from wearing size XL shirts to L shirts. He used to weigh 230, now he is 198 and still loosing more weight. He doesnt even have a gut anymore, his chest is firm. He's been in the Okra diet for two and a half months. And pivotal to his weight loss has been daily weight lifting. Bench presses, inclined presses, dumbbells, barbels and squats.

O i saw Tiya's stationary bike too facing the TV hhahahahha!

anyway our 1-d-1-8 "thing" is what we call our dinner here, usually in between 1 pm to 6 pm...

but that doesnt mean that we are starving ourselves cuz we are having some slight meals like fruits and yogurts (for me)...

I always have something in the morning a little meal like half a bagel or just a roll with coffee if not just a mug of hot choco.

then the rest mga carrots and celery and my yogurts if i want to...

O before i forget, i got two boxes of goodies from Tiya which im considering our desert everytime after our big meals...

everything in our fridge is now the  "diet" (no sugar) stuff and low fat  (which my banana's doctor recommended)

See, nakita jud nimo Maring akong stationary bike na karaan infront of the tv noh! hehehehe  About the goodies, the Mango Square isn't really that bad compared to the Butterscotsch kay lesser in sugar and butter.  sige lang gud, 1 serving a day, I don't think that can do bad. hehehehe

I thought you look perfect, Svet!  but just to maintain, oatmeal is good!  Dili uroy strict dre kay sahay mahisaag man like today, after an hour's walk, pagpauli nko eat ko'g chocolate kay gigutom jud ko.  It's a struggle, alright, but we are getting there! heheheheh

Nakatawa man gud mi ni Orchids pag EB kay among gisugsog ba, kay perte bayang lamoy namo. Ingon sya nga nag pass daw kuno syag excuse letter! hahaha i have to learn self-control pa jud when it comes to food Ms. Grazie kay grabe ko maka indulge! uwahi ang mahay... pero nasuya ko, sige i will "try" to watch what I eat from now on hahaha

Successful weight loss is 50 percent attitude. Decide you're going to lose weight permanently and just do it.

Out with the Old, In With the New
Go through your cabinets and fridge - and toss or donate all unhealthy, problematic junk food. Also, be sure to get rid of your personal trigger foods. These are the foods that once you start eating: you can't stop. Instead, stock up on produce, lean meats, low-fat dairy and whole grains.

Prepare to Prepare
Take 10 minutes the night before to plan out your food for the next day. That's because our days can often become hectic and overwhelming, causing us to impulsively grab high-fat, calorie-loaded food. On the other hand, if you're mentally prepared with a food strategy, you'll be less likely to jump ship.

Don't Forget to Eat 
Within 90 minutes of waking, start the day with a smart breakfast. Then, continue to eat every four to five hours throughout the remainder of your day. You'll keep your blood sugar levels stabilized - which in turn, helps control hunger and cravings. 

For most people, this means eating a well balanced breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner.

Move it and Lose It
Commit to 30 minutes of daily exercise - anything goes. Take a walk, join an exercise class, jump rope, follow a work out video, ride your bike.

I had a bowl of salad tonight with my new favorite salad dressing I bought from Whole Foods - Fresh organic Miso Dressing.  I felt bad because I justified my depression by eating the whole box of ube hopia that Gemma sent to me.  It was so good though.

I am really admiring the  Fecha Dos Crusaders who at least stick to their resolution...

I am struggling at first but now im in a full swing mode with my low carb and excercise...
