Altruista Health has today deployed an evidence-based COVID-19 assessment to health plan customers to be populated throughout the company's GuidingCare technology platform for care management.
The emergency of COVID-19 has created a healthcare environment most Americans have never seen before and Altruista intends to support the healthcare ecosystem during this critical time.

The assessment incorporates all recommendations from the CDC and other health agencies. It incorporates both the physical health as related to the pandemic, but also the mental health of patients who are experiencing anxiety.
"Some of these patients are sick, some are worried, but all of them have the same question," Dr. Khaneja said. "Do I have coronavirus?"
The questionnaire will stratify who should be tested based on clear risk factors and symptoms in order to focus on patients who most need help soonest. It has been distributed to all Altruista customers this morning.
