Plateaus in Recovery: Committing to the Course

We are not running a race with a distinct finish line when we are in recovery, nor are we running in circles completing nothing. It is more like a cross-country course - hills, straight-aways, and unexpected twists, with bumps, obstacles, and smooth surfaces.
