Coast Guard Station Bohol conducts maritime safety enforcement patrol

BOHOL Philippines, (30 August 2019) Coast Guard Station Bohol together with Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) onboard (Diesel Fast DF-318), three Coastal Response Aluminum Boats (ABs), and  two Jetskies off the coasts of  eastern seaboard of Bohol. Today’s operations cover the coastal towns of Guindulman, Anda, Candijay and Mabini.

In a proactive stance, similar interagency operations have been conducted in other key tourist areas in Cebu and Bohol to ensure that all boats are properly marked for security traceability thru the PCG's Safety, Security and Environmental Numbering System (SSEN), registered by MARINA7 to ensure vessel safety, and eventually accredited by the Department of Tourism (DOT7) for monitoring and assurance that only safe, secure and environmental law compliant boats are engaged in tourism-related transport services to ensure world class quality and sustainable maritime tourism in Central Visayas.

All units under Coast Guard District in Central Visayas have been actively sustaining synchronized operations to promote maritime safety, security and maritime environmental law compliance through its campaign plan iCARE or intensified Community assistance, Awareness, Response and Enforcement together with  partner agencies to address specific predetermined issues from periodic joint assessments through the series of interagency maritime caravan, a value-added innovation during regular coast guard patrols regionwide.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
