Chatto pushes for construction
of Cortes Gallares hosp in 2020

Bohol Former governor and now First District Rep. Edgar Chatto is pushing for the construction next year of the much-desired new Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Medical Center (GCGMMC) in Cortes.

The center will address the congestion at the existing hospital facility in Tagbilaran City and the need to modernize public health services in Bohol.

A P78-million allocation was earlier earmarked for consultancy services on the design and detailed engineering work.

The provincial government already donated a five-hectare lot for the project when Chatto was governor.

The project was also then already approved by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board.

As planned, the GCGMMC will have 500 beds, doubling the capacity of the existing hospital, with state-of-the-art equipment.

The Tagbilaran City-based Gallares hospital has been planned for outpatient care services, including rehabilitation medicine, once the Cortes facility is done.

The entire Gallares hospital modernization, including the rise of the facility in Cortes, can cost over P2.2 billion.

The Department of Health has eyed to put up its regional warehouse near the GCGMMC in Cortes.

Meanwhile, in the development kaleidoscope of Gov. Art Yap are not just a more improved health care system but a health consciousness that interrelates with an improved agriculture---and a productive agriculture that interrelates with the speed of tourism growth.(Ven rebo Arigo)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
