Bohol Gov. Art Yap shows support for the voluntary blood donation program. He checked in on volunteer donors as well as public and private collaborators during the Bohol Blood Olympics in celebration of National Blood Donors Month.
Over 170 volunteers came to the Ceremonial Hall at the 4th floor of the Provincial Capitol to donate blood and help save lives of fellow Boholanos.
Themed “Safe Blood for All”, the activity was organized by the Provincial Health Office led by Dr. Reymoses Cabagnot, together with Department of Health Region 7 headed by regional coordinator for the National Blood Services Program, Gov.Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital, Holy Name University Medical Center, Ramiro Community Hospital, Philippine Red Cross, Philippine Dental Association, Bohol Island Lions Club, Jagna Captain Goyo Lions Club, Philippine National Police.
