2 suspects who died earlier
negative of COVID-19

Here’s good news for results of the laboratory tests conducted separately on the COVID-19 suspects.

The results of the Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests on an employee of the Island City Mall Mall IT department and the widow who died in Inabanga town were all negatives.

Mayor Baba Yap reported in social media that the PCR test of one of the employees of IT department of the said mall yielded negative.

Mayor Yap has repeatedly announced that the PCR test is for free for all returning OFWs and locally stranded individuals.

Inabanga Uno facebook posted on Friday that the widow who died on July 4, 2020 also yielded negative of the COVID-19 following a swab specimen was taken from her.

“Negatibo sa COVID-19 basi sa resulta sa RT-PCR Test ang swab sample sa usa ka biyudang taga Dait Sur, INaBanga nga namatay niadtong Hulyo 4, 2020 didto sa Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital (GCGMH),” the post said.

The Inabanga post said that the test result was received by teamINABANGA from the Department of Health region 7 on Friday.

Her being a COVID suspect was based on “final diagnosis” of the said hospital.

ICM management has issued an official statement expounding the tale of the IT employee who died on July 6, 2020.

The said employee, who had not been reporting to work for more than a week before he died, was not part of the sales department of the mall, the statement said.

All his asymptomatic co-workers were placed under the mandatory 14-day quarantine in a DOH-accredited facility in the city but they were negative of the rapid test conducted beforehand.

Their PCR test results are still being awaited for, it said.

“The management has been taking extra precaution by continually sanitizing and disinfecting our stores inorder to protect you, our valued customers and our employees as well in compliance with the mandated government protocols,” the statement said.

Both the ICM management and Inabanga reminded the public to follow health protocols ---- always wear face masks, wash hands frequently, keep social (physical) distancing and avoid going out of home when it is not necessary. (rvo)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
