January 25 â€" Last day of filing Quarterly Value Added Tax (VAT) return and payment of tax due for the preceding month; and

January 31 â€" Last day of payment of the Annual Registration Fee for taxpayers engaged in business.
January 15 is also the last day of Registration of Permanently Bound Computer-Generated/Loose Leaf Books of Accounts and other accounting records such as but not limited to receipts and Invoices; while January 30 is the last day for submission of Inventory Lists.

A new Revenue Memorandum Order has been issued dated Aug. 8, 2007 updating the Schedule of Compromise Penalties for failure to comply with these due dates and other promulgated BIR regulations.
