Congratulations, Provincial Government of Bohol for bagging second place in the "Best in LGU Processes (G2I) Award

Bohol information communication and technology office (BICTO), the project's implementing office, came up with a modular based information system that connects all components of the necessary operation in providing services to internal clients. This in-house system was brewed and conceptualized by BICTO together with the Provincial Accounting Office, Provincial Treasurer's Office, Provincial Budget and Management Office and Human Resources Management and Development Office.

The Digital Governance Award (DGA) which is an annual search to help stimulate e-Governance, particularly in the LGU-level, is a way to enable LGUs to become catalysts of change.

The award is given by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP) and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) to local government units (LGUs) with the best practices in using information and communications technology (ICT) in their operations and delivery of public services.
