Just saw today the movie trailer of The Bourne Ultimatum, the last of the trilogy of Robert Ludlum's Bourne Identity.
I've read all three novels: The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Bourne Ultimatum; and I've seen the movie versions done so far (starring Richard Chamberlain for Identity; and Matt Damon for the new movie versions).
I can say that the movie version starring Chamberlain was 95% faithful to the book. I couldn't say the same for the versions starring Damon -- but the production did brush up the story and made them more current.
But if you ask me which gave me more thrills--the book or the movie? I'd answer the book, hands down.
