Asia's Nightingale Lani Misalucha is back in the Philippines after being tapped to sing as the front act in Grammy-nominated singer Josh Groban's concert on October 17 and 18.
Misalucha arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City on board Philippine Airlines PR 107 at 4:47 a.m. Tuesday.
A former host of ABS-CBN variety show "ASAP", Misalucha regularly performs in the Flamingo Las Vegas in Nevada as part of Filipino-Hawaiian group Society of Seven.
Groban is slated to hold a concert at the Philippine International Convention Center as part of his “Awake†tour. Among his popular songs are “You Raise Me Up,†“You’re Still You,†and “To Where You Are.â€
He is the latest among foreign acts who visited Manila this year. Among them are John Ford Coley, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and Christina Aguilera.
