PIA: President Rodrigo Durerte visits the wake of Police Senior Master Sergeant (PSMS) Jason J. Magno, police officer who was killed by a grenade protecting the students of Initao Community College on November 28, 2019.
Upon arrival, PRRD also visits Misamis Oriental Provincial hospital X-Ray room to visit wounded in police operations (WIPO) Personnel PSMS Alice B. Balido then will motor to the wake visit & condoles with the family PSMS Jason J. Magno.
PNP Chief Archie Francisco Gamboa says they have given medal of valor to the deceased police PSMS Magno.
This is the highest award a police can get for being most courageous in his line of duty.
Through this award, aside from the usual pension, the family gets P75,000 a month and scholarship for the kids.
He adds, if àny of the kids enrols in the PMA, they will no longer have to take any entrance exam.
