The first pinoy baller to register a quadruple-double is not from the PBA. He is Felix "Donbel" Belano of Davao Eagles in the now-defunct league of Metropolitan Basketball of the Philippines (MBA) on August 14, 1999 against Willie Miller- led Nueva Ecija Patriots. He tallied 17 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and 10 steals.
Belano later played to PBA when he was drafted 14th overall by Pop Cola in 1999 Draft. He did not play with the team but played in three different teams in his stint with PBA: Sta. Lucia, TNT and Barako Bull.
He would later become a coach in his alma mater, the Univesity of Visayas Green Lancer in CESAFI.
