i was talking to a friend this morning. we shared about our dreams last night. we both had bad dreams. coincidence? i doubt it. i always believe there's reason for everything. and it will just unfold itself to be revealed. i can wait.

"Home is the place you grow up wanting to leave, and grow old wanting to get back to".

I must be getting old because I have been missing home so much.  I have a home where I am but the call of the old home, the home I grow up with my siblings and parents and the whole big family is so overwhelming it brings tears to my eyes, while at the same time smile at the good and bad memories alike.  Home, I am coming home someday...

When I think of home, I think of Kuh Ledesma's song.  It kinda describes how I feel, when I think of home:

 When I think of home
I think of a place where there's love overflowing
I wish I was home
I wish I was back there with the things I been knowing

Wind that makes the tall trees bend into leaning
Suddenly the snowflakes that fall have a meaning
Sprinklin' the scene, makes it all clean

Maybe there's a chance for me to go back there
Now that I have some direction
It would sure be nice to be back home
Where there's love and affection
And just maybe I can convince time to slow up
Giving me enough time in my life to grow up
Time be my friend, let me start again

Suddenly my world has changed it's face
But I still know where I'm going
I have had my mind spun around in space
And yet I've watched it growing

If you're list'ning God
Please don't make it hard to know
If we should believe in the things that we see
Tell us, should we run away
Should we try and stay
Or would it be better just to let things be?

Living here, in this brand new world
Might be a fantasy
But it taught me to love
So it's real, real to me

And I've learned
That we must look inside our hearts
To find a world full of love
Like yours
Like mine

my steps have been treading many roads and streets. some take me there; some take me nowhere. as i was walking along the snow covered path this morning, it brought me memories of my hometown--muddy, wet, dusty, rough. i hope someday this path will lead me home.

Mother, you gave me a piece of you that became me. I cant find my own path but follow yours. I tried so hard to walk on a different direction but still your path came across mine. You are in me all my life so i decided to walk with you through it for the rest of this journey. I have seen another path so many times but for me seemed so blurry that i cant even see what's behind it for i know it wasnt for me so i never dared to go through it...

When my pilgrim here is over I can't wait to be home. There I will rejoice in the fact that all are rejoicing, experience perpetual peace and wonderful inner satisfaction that comes from seeing that everyone hallows and praise the Lord. Oh, when will that happy day arrive, when I finally reach home.I will see myself drowned in infinite sea of supreme truth, when I no longer be free to sin,nor I want to sin,for I will be safe from every misery, naturalize by the life of my God.

Home is always there for us - waiting patiently.  Back when we were younger, oh, how I dread to go home.  Mommy would make us fetch water from the deep well, cook, watch our younger siblings, sweep the dry leaves that fall from the Pomelo, Tisa and Caimeto trees.  But now I long to hear the rustling sound when we step those dry leaves.

"The leaves of memory seems to create a mournful rustling in in the dark."

Home is where you can be your familiar self, calm, routine and marvelous: a bounty

vouchsafed to the lucky human creature by a providence extravagant in its generosity.

I called my Mommy last night. We exchanged hi and hellos.  She said she was tired as they just got home from CDO.  I told her I was a bit under the weather.  I coughed a bit.  Then she told me, put a leaf or two of tuba-tuba in your chest.  In the morning, it will be dry because the curing moisture of tuba-tuba is already in your chest.  Oh, my Mommy.  I smiled but my tears were silently falling.  I gently told her, we do not have tuba-tuba here.  She echoed, wala?  Then she said, why don't you come home...  :'(

I was heavily coughing when the plane took off at Copenhagen Airport. I lost my voice and my head was spinning. I was not feeling well and it was still very cold at winter peak. I could not sleep during my flight because I was very excited to see how my parents would react when they see me in front of them. Yes, it was a surprise homecoming. Nobody knew except my sister. I was going to attend my Grandparents Golden Wedding Anniversary.

We, the unwilling, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much, for so long, with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing.
