The University of Bohol-National Service Training Program (UB-NSTP) in coordination with the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police will conduct a Security Awareness Symposium among university students on December 8, 2007, at the UB gymnasium.
The activity will start with an invocation by Dr. Ricardo Bullecer. CWTS Coordinator, followed by a welcome address by Dalia Melda Magno, School Registrar and NSTP Coordinator and an inspirational talk by Leo Armando Boncales, UB Alumni Affairs/Public Relations Officer. Col. Cesar B. Yano, Commanding Officer, 302 Brigade, Philippine Army, will speak in behalf of the AFP while a representative from the PNP will also share some inputs on security procedures.
1st Lt. Lino Garsuta (Res.) PA, and NSTP Implementor/CWTS Coordinator disclosed that the activity is aimed to enhance security awareness among the students and to define their roles in helping the administration maintain peace and order in the campus, and in the community as well. .
