Bran,

They are trying to decipher the ginetic make up of an ancient clam called Kuja. First they have to disolve the ginetic material in an acidic substance such as vinegar.

Just experimenting on how to boost productivity by mixing work and pleasure. ;D

Actually our young Boholano scientists are indeed very ingenious.

During a science fair event when I was in highschool, a group of delegates from Bilar Agricultural College stayed in our house, as our cousin Mrs. Pabe was their science adviser. Their entry was about bio-fuel from Tuba-tuba seeds (I don't know the scientific name of this plant). That was back in the year 1982 and at that time, no one in the world thought about fuel crisis.

That same year, another invention amazed me and thier project is generating electricity by connecting cathodes & anode metals to trees. They were able to light up a single bulb from a small tree. Maybe a forest could light up a city.
