Inclusivity remains at the heart of Mindoro State University's (MinSU) goal, ensuring that no one is left behind, especially this Christmas season. On December 22, 2024, the University exemplified this commitment through Project CARD (Caring and Reaching Out this December), an initiative that brought the spirit of Christmas to the Mangyan community at Brgy. Tagumpay, Baco, Oriental Mindoro.
Initiated by Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, University President, this heartfelt initiative reached Mangyan families, ensuring they felt the warmth of the season. Dr. Apostol handed them gift packages containing food and essential supplies.
The day was filled with smiles and heartfelt exchanges as the Mangyan families welcomed her with open arms. The Mangyan community expressed their appreciation for the efforts and blessings they received. For them, the initiative was a reminder that they are not forgotten and are cherished as part of a larger community.
Project CARD is one of the outreach efforts of MinSU this Christmas season to bridge gaps and extend its services beyond the confines of its campuses.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. - John 3:16-18
