A YOUNG Filipina from Buckhorn High School in Madison County, Alabama has been awarded as Waff 48 Star Student for her impressive performance in the field of art.
Waff is a television network affiliate for Huntsville, Alabama and is broadcasting on channel 48.

Andrea Arrojado, 16, spent her earlier school years in the Philippines, studying in Cebu Bradford School, 7th Day Adventist Center, and St. Alphonsus Catholic School. The Arrojado family moved to the United States in 2009.
Bob Arrojado, Andrea's father, said that they used to live in Upper Camputhaw Purok 4 in Cebu City.
Waff 48 News said: "There are many facets to this quiet young lady with a sweet smile, but her art teacher simply sums her up in one word: Impressive."
Andrea is now a high school sophomore in Buckhorn High School. She excels not only in her art classes but in other subjects as well.
