AboitizPower wholly-owned subsidiary Hedcor Inc., in collaboration with the Aboitiz Foundation took part of this year’s Brigada Eskwela by helping in repainting the classrooms of the Catalunan Pequeno National High School, Davao City.
Hedcor’s Talomo Grid Manager Nuel Medelo said in line with the Department of Education’s annual Brigada Eskwela, the company’s participation is a way of giving back to its host communities
Medelo said aside from the repainting job, Hedcor also installed window grills to secure the classrooms. Minor repairs and improvements were also done to the school building.
“Taking part of this activity provides us the opportunity to inspire the students in the fulfillment of their educationâ€, he said.
On the other hand, Evelyn Magno, the Principal of the Catalunan Pequeño National High School expressed appreciation to Hedcor’s full support in developing and improving their school.
Catalunan Pequeno National High School is one of the host schools of the five Talomo hydropower plants owned by Hedcor, Inc.- PNA
