Another suspected drug pusher in Corella fell in the no-let up Oplan Banat of the Provincial Public Safety Company and the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team of the provincial police.
A 28-year-old resident of barangay Canangca-an in Corella identified as Risty Cenabre 28, married, was arrested
yesterday after a buy-bust operation coordinated with Corella municipal police.
The police team recovered the P500 marked money and the two cellophane sachets containing suspected shabu purchased by the poseur-buyer from Cenabre.
Police Superintendent Nicomedes Olaivar Jr,, the operation team leader, described Cenabre as a big-time drug personality operating in Panglao.
The suspect had also been implicated earlier in incidents of hold-up in Panglao and Tagbilaran City.
He is currently detained in the PNP lock-up jail in Corella, while investigators prepares charges of drug pushing against him, a violation of Section 5 Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
On the other hand, police investigators already filed charges against the drug suspect arrested last week in a buy-bust at Espuelas Extension in the city.
