« on: December 31, 2008, 08:24:43 PM »
Yesterday and through out the entire night heavy rainwater's saggerated area's of Bohol flooding out over seven barangays and over 200 homes particuraly in the municipality of Clarin.

Word had reached media outlets and as news spread media personalities were on it as fast as they could be and visited the the Municipio of Clarin to get the full details of the barangay's, homes and peoples lives who are affected.

Later on we heard unconfirmed reports of Landslides happening in Municipio of Loboc.

News from Loboc was not yet reported to the police as of this afternoon.

The news came from Yap owners of a locally operated lumber store who are living in that area where the lanslide had occured.

flash flood warning :
 * evacuate quickly and move to higher ground.
* Do not try to drive through the flooded areas!
* If your vehicle does stall, get out immediately and move to higher ground!
Some things to be aware of when in a flash flood prone area:

be aware of any signs of heavy rain
if you see or hear rapid rising water get to high ground
do not attempt to cross the flowing water
Most flash floods occur when there is a heavy amount of precipitation falling in an area and that water is then channeled through streams or narrow gullies.
Flash floods may take minutes or hours to develop. It is possible to experience a flash flood without witnessing any rain. In this case, there would be heavy rain in areas upstream of your location.

Very useful, post this to your school or any area dinha sa ato. ´´ Laging Handa `` @ ´´ Kanunay Andam`` ang mga tao n-cse na mag baha usab.
