    More than P424,800 were lost in four separate robberies pulled off in Bohol last week.
    In Tagbilaran City, an employee of a fast craft company yielded some P400,000 in cash to robbers who held him up along Gallares street about 2 pm last May 18.
    The victim was identified as one Lester Perez, 26, an accounting clerk of Weesam Express based in Tagbilaran City.
    Information gathered by police investigators disclosed that Perez was riding a tricycle on the way to deposit the cash collection to the bank when the suspects struck near the Knights of Columbus church.
    The tricycle with body no. 0405 was forced to the side by a motorcycle with three men who were armed.
    The suspects aimed their guns at Perez and declared a hold-up, forcing the victim to hand over the money.
    Investigators learned that the loot represented the firm's collection for three days.
    The suspects successfully made good their escape aboard the motorcycle.
    Earlier that day, no less than the office of Panglao Mayor Benedicto Alcala was reported victimized by still unidentified robbers.
    Police reports said the robbery was discovered along with the Catholic church not far from it.
    Municipal employees found the office of the mayor was broken into as well as the treasurer's office. 
    Initial inventory showed that the suspects carted off with some P2,000 from the latter including P200 that represented the collection of the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
    A cabinet in the mayor's office also yielded P1,400. 
    Meanwhile, still unidentified robbers made off with P6,400 in cash at the Panglao church.
    Alcala expressed outrage over the two burglaries and called for the relief of the town's police force.
    The mayor said he was surprised why the policemen were unaware of the heist when the two offices are near the police station.
    As a result, Insp. John Gano was replaced as Panglao chief by Insp. Junel Caadlawon.
    Caadlawon, who already paid a courtesy call on the mayor, formally assumed office last May 20.
    Alcala however was still dissatisfied as he pressed for the relief of the other members of the Panglao police force.
    In Catigbian town, a trader was victimized also by three men last May 20 in Barangay Baang.
    The victim was identified as one Miguel Mesiona, a businessman who owns a rice mill in the said barangay.
    According to accounts, the three men riding on a blue motorcycle arrived held up the suspect about 8:30 am Wednesday.           
    The suspects did not harm the victims but made off with not less than P15,000 in cash.
