Two Bohol Islets Might Be Wiped Out

Two small islets in Bohol are in danger of being wiped out because of rising seawater level.

The rise of seawater level that endangers the Bilangbilangan and Malingin islands is attributed to global warming and quarrying.

The two islets are under the municipality of Bien Unido in Bohol Province. - Sun.Star Cebu

Even Alona beach and other shorelines are starting to dissapear before eeryones eyes here.

The 20 mitre salvage zone means just that.

Not a good ideal to build near to the shoreline when the coast lines are being washed away.

While leaving Cebu last week it was a real eye sore to see all the pollution and plastic shopping bags floating atop the water way like as if some sort of unique colored new jellyfish speceis.

i have been to parts of these said islands a few years back. both are populated by fishermen families and they will surely go under with the island if they don't leave in due time. global warming is real and scientists have confirmed the rising of sea levels, although they are not of the same opinion as to the rate of increase. nevertheless, sea level will continue to rise in the coming years. let us build more coal fired power plants to generate electricity for our appliances and airconditioning at home, and burn more gasoline and diesel for our cars and ensure that this scenario becomes reality even sooner than anticipated.

Di man sakop ang Bilangbilangan sa Bein Unido sakop man siguro na sa Tubigon.Gamay jud na nga isla nakaanha ko diha mga 5 years old pa man siguro ko.Bibo bitaw na sila magfeasta kay naay drama sa DYHP daghan raba ko classmates sa high school taga diha.

Kanang reclamation sa Cebu annoying kaayo ang baho sa basura nga gi sunog. Maoy mo pukaw sa mga pasahero sa barko gikan sa Mindanao. Kung baho na, hapit na ka mo abot sa Cebu.

The cause of Two Bohol Islets to Wiped is Global Warming


It is because of global warming, that our Summers are getting hotter and our so-called winters are becoming more monsoon-like

It is because of global warming that Dengue fever is spreading much farther and faster around the country due to increased humidity

It is because of global warming that our shores will soon move closer by a meter or more each year (melting of the icecaps)

It is because of global warming that more and more floods are affecting the Philippine islands and surrounding regions

It is because of global warming that people hunger because their crops were destroyed in natural disasters such as storms, floods, or heat/dryness

The Philippines could even cease to exist because of global warming, because once the sea level has risen a couple of meters, even our highest mountains may not be high enough anymore to sustain a whole country.

 Some of these islets might be wiped out because of global warming. Water level rises in some
                                             places of the country.
