ENHANCING MARITIME CONNECTIVITY AND MOBILITY, WHILE STRENGTHENING SECURITY AT PH SEA
News Release - The Department of Transportation (DOTr), under the strong-willed leadership of Secretary Art Tugade, and the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), headed by General Manager Jay Daniel Santiago, have already completed 446 commercial and social tourism seaport projects since 2016, while working on the swift completion of 117 more.
Aside from this, the DOTr and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), captained by Commandant, Admiral George V Ursabia Jr, have been relentless in addressing security issues of the country’s seas, as well as in providing swift and immediate rescue and relief operations during calamities.
